Flow checks sticking open
Flow checks randomly stick open and heat gravatates thru loop out of control. Any good advice. Ive tried formula #5 additive, no luck. Is there a good cleaner out there. Why does a flow check hang up? Thanks0 -
Rust, corrosion, time...no real reason. I like spring checks on the returns, and IFC type circulators to reduct the risk of rattling & sticking swing check valves.

Tim`s right, but no matter what CV used a good system cleaning will help, I flush mine with TSP, then rinse well after.
