Need to purchace a 2 1/2" hand die for local manufacturer to chase bad threads. Are there still any of these animals out there?
The old block style die would be ideal as some of the threads are on short pieces.
Thanks in advance.

2 1/2\" die
Check Grainger's catalog. I remember seeing one of these a year or two ago in there.0 -
Unfortunately,
The biggest users of 2-1/2" in our area are sprinkler installers. I can find most fittings now ...but I haven't even thought of getting a die.
All the threading equipment we have covers from 1/2 to 2"....(and that covers the last 30+ years!), but 2-1/2 I try to buy in stock lengths.
I'd be interested to know if I could get something for the old machines or hand die holders. Chris0 -
