Sharkbite & hydronics?

a job yesterday where a contractor used Sharkbite fittings to transition from copper to PEX in a hydronic system. Anyone know if these fittings are rated for 180+F water?

    Looked up specs

They are certified for 200 degrees @200psi max. for both potable and Hydronic. They are ok for copper, pex etc. They even now offer their own pex w/ barrier? Still not my cup of tea but there you go. Tim
  • Thanx Tim!

Spent most of yesterday checking out a hydronic system with lots of issues. Paying for my absence today - up to my ears in aligators & trying to catch up on phone calls and estimates!

We could stand to hire about three mechanics!
