Thanks Guys,

but contrary to many believe, "eh" is not in our vocabulary. It was Dave Thomas & Rick Moranus who thought "that-up", Wish I could think of A 2 letter word that could make me A Million dollars!

I heard that the expression "eh" comes from how you spell Canada.......cAnAdA.......am I wrong. I'm French Canadian myself so don't be too hard on me.!!!

Eh? It sure was when I was learning to talk in Toronto, and that predated Bob & Doug by a good 15 years o.O And it's *definitely* part of the Alberta dialect. Maybe you just got lucky? ^_~

fits with my experience in Calgary.

When I flew out of the Calgary airport I was listening to the tower talk to the pilots. I was quite disappointed when I did not hear, "Take off you hoser!"
