Call the place you got it from, try to get the tech support # and ask them about the kit you want. Odds are they won't know anything. If they can't or won't help you you're best off getting another unit that is made for natural gas.

Is it safe to convert a patio heater made by Changzhou gardensun Furnace Co. model HSS-A-SH T from propane to natural gas? Also what kit would I need to use?

This most certainly is a unit from China. While it can be done, I doubt a domestic kit in the US is available to accomplish the conversion. Although an experienced person most likely could do it without a kit, the cost of parts/materials would exceed the purchase price of the unit.

I have a unit also and was going to convert it from propane to natural gas to use on my deck. However after giving it some thought, I chose to leave it propane and keep it portable for parties and tailgating.

Just something to think about.
