Lots of good wet heat topics in this week's issue of the News, including Ken Secor's article on steam heat and Paul Rohr's visit to REX. Go to www.achrnews.com.

Looking good, John
but that wasn't just "an installer".... it was my partner Gordon!

And he actually...
looks like a true steam-fitter; suspenders and all!
Thanks for the blurb.

Thank You Ken
and you wrote a very nice and concise piece. Honored to be a part of it, I am.
I was told by a (now) Dead Man who worked as a steam-fitter in the Brooklyn shipyards in WWII that the color of suspenders one wore was based on your trade. Plumbers wore brown. Steam-fitters wore blue.0 -
Great article Ken!
I'm in the process of repairing an old Brommel system as we speak, and I've got to say that "pressure is TRULY the enemy here".
I've seen too many systems where someone has cranked the pressure, trying to "fix" a problem...only to exacerbate it...sometime DRAMATICALLY !
Great read buddy. A hearty THANKS to John for giving the thread too. Chris0
