I am now behind the Rockies as my Tigers did not do as well as last year...the old second half slide thing...How are things in Denver these days?? Cold here, but no snow yet. Tomatoes are dead.

All of us locals who have supported the Rockies for years are so pleased to see what has happened. The fact is that this team has the ability to win against any team out there. If they can keep their heads on straight and stay focused, they have as good a shot as any for the world series.

The play off game for the play offs against San Diego last week was the most electrifing game I have every been to. Everything was on the line with that game. The game last night where they swept the Phils was great but a little boring due to the low scoring. Plus it renders my tickets for the posible 4th game useless. Who'd o' thunk they would win in 3? Oh well, I lost out on tickets for the next series against the D'backs. I'll put my sights on the World Series.

The weather in Denver is still ok. Has not frozen yet but this weekend it is flirting with the 30's. Highs in the 70's this coming week.
