Stainless steel vent pipe w/ Riello?

Someone informed me that if you use a Riello burner with a Thermopride furnace, the vent pipe or flue has to be stainless steel. I've never heard that before and can't find it in the manuals anywhere. Anyone else hear this? Anyway I'm going to contact the rep in my area about it.
