How to stop hydronic convection

We have minor difugalties from time to time,...
when called to check something that we dont know or have not installed,...there are lots of reasons we like reason,...it gives us a chance to get it done quicker if there is a Next Time....
i have used bronze body pumps and the problem of buying new circs went away, buh,...the cause is what would also help the situation,...As Hot Rod was saying unless you nail down the point of where it is coming in you are likely to continue with the problem...it will just show up some place else like the expansion tank...
for the most part to this day i like bronze body circs on stations and headers into a slab.or stainless, i have stainless on my pinner home....they are spendier buh then again, ive seldom had a problem with one...
however back to the thermal migration thing,...it is something that all of us have seen. i have made like a swing drop header to slow the problem down on a boiler piped like a shoe horn would not fit into the room ,....the Drop was not as clean as say a steam header, buh that worked. it was unbearable Hot in the room until i spun in the swing joint.
that did not actually make it clear in my mind Why it was happening previously other than it was likely a combination of problems i was too lazy to fix at the time i was called ..i am feeling guilty ,now:(......
on another note, i helped a guy redo the headers on some entran or rubber hose header as i used to think of them, we cut all the ends off of the supply side and re tweaked the header. the boiler room was way bad in the place. whateverthe thing is, that, seemed to dial the pressure phenomenon back into the real world. you have no pressure loss that can be readily discerned...that is steering my thinking to the water source itself, ....
We have two more people here who are real savey with water quality, one is Larry...Larry seen many many chemical problems eating away at peoples water systems on the potable water supply....And Rhomar dudefor the most part you will probably have to appeal to something they would see as a thread that they are really into answering
. like if you write
""After a water analysis my Hot Water has Blue gell floating out the tub spout""
...or something catchy like that, Bang! Larry be all over it
Rhomar dude is busy busy busy these days...a thread that would Jump off the page at him would be along the lines of,
"" Chemical flushing Vs. TSP" Which one is better...? ""
ok Rhomar dude be here dial you in in a heart beat
I am not as familiar with much outside of the area where i have worked, i have seen Cyanide concentrations, sulpher, iron ,and many different metals and chemicals, salts ...bacteria, plenty things buh when i visited the Continental United States a few times, i noticed that the USA has many many different variations in water quality from sea to shining sea. is there someone in your area like a Well Driller outfit that you can phone? they would probably have some valuable input on water quality in your area. or what is what with the water..some Water softener people know this that and another about water in your area , still defer on buying into that, until you take a flask/bottle of your water to a test lab.
i go food ..Brb...thats modern day computerese, means, be right back0
