Is periodic draining of boiler only recommended?

You said it is a converted gravity system, so therefore you do not drain it or flush it out ever. If you have a float type low water cut off, that you flush out monthly. If ya got a non-bladdeer type expansion tank, you empty it yearly.

Is periodic draining of boiler recommended?
Hello, I was wondering if it is recommended to drain a boiler to rid it of any potetial sediment or will this action create a problem? I do have isolation valves for the connected system which is a converted gravity cast iron throughout system. Thank you, Guy.0
