    Hot water ssystem does not heat properly

    Hi,

    I have installed in my home 2 Utica boilers which are 250MBTU output each. I believe they were installed in the early 80's and the original system was a gravity feed steam system before converting into hydronic heat. It appears that the supply and return was reversed from the original piping connection. How do I determine if there are a flow restrictions or check valves at the radiators which could be causing the lack of heat and very high energy bills?
