Use the ones with the steel nuts rather than the brass ones. They tend to last longer. Over time they all wear out.

    HAS ANYONE OTHER THAN ME HAD TROUBLE WITH THE 3 PIECE LINE THAT GOES ON THE PUMP AND THE NOZZLE (DRAWER ASSEMLY) I NOTICE FIRST THE PORCILENS R WET AND RESIDUE WHERE IT SHOULDN'T BE THEN I CHECK THE FLARE MOST TIMES IT IS EITHER CRACKED OR A LOUZY FLARE JUST WONDERIN OK ROYBOY

    And they wear out quicker when people feel the need to tighten 'em down good with a 12" adjustable at every service...don't forget the channelocks on the thumb nut while yer at it!
