Desgin help please

How is the pool heated? What is your location. Can the panels face directly south? I just completed a solar DHW and space heating system for a small home in northern MN that is off grid. I can post some pictures later. I can help on this.

Customer wants

a radiant floor for a detached pool house. Easy enough. Only 21000 btu load, Put down blueboard over the wxisting concrete floor and over pur tubing stapled down to syrofoam, however... he wants to use solar to make domestic hot water for the shower and to help with the radiant floor. A simple job just got complicated for me. Do I use a storage tank with 2 heat exchangers? Don't I need 3? Back it up with a mod con? Gas is available. Any help would be appreciated. WW

Wayne - you should take a look at the Vitosol combi packages, they offer two, which are both customizable as in you can upgrade the dual coil indirect. This product offering is typically specially priced, includes pretty much everything and allows for the combined type of system you are looking for, all in one source. I met with HO

last Friday and unfortunately he has a solar experienced guy already on the project. He just needs me to run the radiant floor. (Snoozer dude) however the good news is I can look over his shoulder and try to figure stuff out, while he gets to figure out how to hook his panels up to a slate roof. (heh heh) I've got a piping picture the HO gave me I'll try to share it with you all. I have an idea of my own I'm working on too. WW
