My First Dropped Header
This was my first dropped header I did in March, system now runs quiet as a church mouse, which is why we were asked to replace it after the last one rotted out do to overfeeding from a bouncing waterline, water now stays nice and steady. Customer is doing the insulation a bit at a time. This was the first steam job that I was also able to convince the boss to allow me to use Teflon tape up until now it was forbidden to even be on the truck so I used to keep it in my pocket and use it when I knew something would need to come apart again relief valves, expansion tanks water feeds etc.0 -
very nice...
is that a 6 section series 8 ? I just did a 3 section w/ a drop header...they are a nice boiler w/ a compeitive price...great factory support..kpc

I believe dope has it's place too, Gas and oil, but tape gets my vote on steam and anything that will need to come apart semi regular for maintenance.0 -
