    A man....

After my heart! Who the HE...double hockey sticks WAS Elvis to someone of my age?

Groucho...there's another matter.(I fall after BOTH...But think Groucho was a GENIUS. Kind of like the Frank Zappa of HIS generation.JMHO...)

I got screamed at by my Mom for watching Marx Brothers movies....ALMOST as much as I got yelled at for watching the 3 Stooges!(and I quote..."I can't believe you're still watching those IDIOTS...30 years later!".

    Groucho...HERO.

Elvis....still not sure, but I'll stand by my original statement...Best thing He did for his career,

I shot an elephant in my pajamas last night....what he was doing there...I'll never know! Chris

    Elvis

Elvis was a tragic figure. Someone with his talent, fame and fortune, ending up as he did. What a shame!

One other sad aspect to E's untimely death

was the onslaught of questionable elvis impersonators. Here's one leaving the building:

    Terry T

steam; proportioned minitube; trapless; jet pump return; vac vent. New Yorker CGS30C

    Success is not easy.

Elvis was another example of how the demands of super-stardom can and do kill. Drugs, booze, too much partying...Think of them all! Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jerry Garcia, John Belushi, Keith Moon, Phil Ochs, many others. So much creativity gone, too soon.

    Elvis

Isn't it amazing how people who changed the world, such as Willis Carrier, Thomas Shipley, Alexander Cummings, Thomas Crapper, William Levitt, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Matthias Baldwin, The Wright Brothers, Etc. all became famous (albeit a different fame), most had household names and didn't end up like Elvis. The showbiz types seem to be more susceptible to that kind of inauspicious end.

    Elvis impersonator.

AAAAHHRRRRGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!! (For the uniformed, that was a written expression of extreme pain and fear. I think that's how it is spelled.)
