    Stapler

Uponor makes a pneumatic wood stapler. Part# E6021638 if you deal with Uponor. Uses 5/8" thru 1-1/4" staples with a 1" crown. Hope this helps.

    staplers

We use Bostich tools, available anywhere. Nothing against Wirsbo, I use it all the time, but I find it amuzing, and too expensive to buy their tools. You would think that all manufacturers would make tools available to professional installers at more reasonable prices. But then again, this is a bottom line based economy.

    Most of the pneumatic

tool manufactures offer a tool to drive that size staple.(1"crown 1-1/4- 1-1/2" length.)

I like the Senco PW stapler, although the model may have been replaced or updated? Inexpensive, bulletproof and easy to rebuild. The Senco staples also fit DuoFast and Hitachi brand staplers.

If you have a contractors tool store nearby try some on for fit. I would guess, like drills or any other power tool, it's more a choice of fit and feel then quality or workability.

You should be able to rent or borrow a demo from a radiant rep, supplier or manufacturer.

Used staplers are fairly easy to come by at repair shops. Or pawn shops :)

If you go with a Senco from a local tool supplier Watts Radiant sells various nosepieces for different diameter tube as well as a handy extension handle.
