Which is more economical to use

The Ultra is more efficient than an instantaneous water heater. Plus you have hot water available immediately, you have reserve for higher flow short duration loads without upsizing the fuel burning equipment, and you have only one fuel burning appliance to maintain instead of two. An indirect is absolutely the best choice when you have a mod/con boiler available to heat it.

My husband is installing an Ultra 80. Is it more economical to use an indirect Hot Water Heater or a new instantaneous water heater ?0
