on the Contender vs T 80? Saw the Contender at a class and liked the design. I need to decide between the T80 or Contender for an upcoming install. Any thoughts?

I like the Contender
First off there is one very important difference between the two and it may be critical in some parts of the country. The Munchkin Contender is not ASME. The Munchkin is.
If thats not needed in your project then I like the new Munchkin Contender better. I think the wall hung design is better and having the connections on the bottom makes a cleaner and space saving install. When you take the cover off, there is more room to work on the boiler. I like the fact that they all vent in 2" pvc. I think having the inducer motor below the heat exchanger may be a better design. You have to add the Vision 1, outdoor reset and indirect package, separate. No problem there. The Contender also has its own condensate cup with an over flow switch.
