Dear Don:
We are glad you are coming to the HydroFest, we have added a couple of new classes to our agenda that I think everyone will get a lot out of. The latest class we added was: Radiant Cooling taught by Michael Scharing the President of Hydronika. Hydronika is a package Boiler/Chiller unit. We think of it as "a mechanical room in a box".
We have also added a class on Commercial High Eff Copper Fin Boilers - This course will also talk about using multiple smaller boilers vs 1 or 2 larger boilers. This course is being taught by Curt Martin of the Burnham Owned Comapny Thermal Solutions.
We currently have 8 instructors that will conduct seminars on 10 different Hydronic Heating and Cooling topics.

HydroFest in Kansas City
No, just in the MidWest, this is an anual event dedicated to promote Hydronics in this otherwise slugish Hydronic market. I would like to see this week in September to be dedicated to Hydronic education, both on a profesional and public leval. I am commited to do whatever it takes to make sure the word gets out.0 -
Thanks Bob...
I get out to Mass. about 4-5 times a year. Just got back from REX in Hartford, CT. A good resourse close to you would be RST, Inc. Email me And I'll get you their contact info. don@crete-heat.com0 -
Get the word out
a little earlier next year. My rep told me last Thursday. Not a lot of time to plan for a multiple day event. I would really like to go, but job commitments are what they are.
Maybe next year. Same time of year, same place?

Details
Hi Dan, Would you please give more details on Hydro fest or where to go for more info? Is there a web site or contact info? I live in Iowa, which isn't quite the hydronic desert some might think!, and would love to attend if I can squeeze it into my schedule!
Thanks, Rich L0 -

Paul:
Next year the HydroFest will be in Wichita, Kansas at the Wichita Marriott. It will be held the same week in September. I haven't checked with Dan yet, but I am hoping that he will be our Keynote speaker again. He was in Kansas City with us 2 years ago, and had quite an experiance driving a Beer Cart in the pouring rain during our golf tourney (the course wouldn't cancel so we played since I payed). I am hoping to get more Hydronic events going that week in the MedWest.
Warmest Regards,
Dan K.0 -
