I am about to purchase a Buderus G115/21 for my house. Which burner would you choose: Beckett NX or Riello?

Riello.
the BF might be the plan...0 -
it depends
What really matters is if the peopel who are servicing them are falimar and carry riello parts ,i have install g115 /21 with beckett nx and have had no issue it seems that in my area not many want to buy or carry a reillo repair kits and most go with the becketts which in my area are much easier to get parts it seems most places stock beckett parts while alot of parts for reillos have to be ordered ,i would first talk to your oil company to see what burner they recommend being that they will be doing the service peace and good luck clammy hey weezbo how's it going hope all is wellR.A. I don't know
the few times I came across the NX , nothing but problems.
Mostly nuisance lockouts. I had this occur my install (Buderus) and on another job which was a WM ultra oil.
The mica window helps, blanket and increased pump pressure, and 60W nozzle.
After 18 months of no heat calls on my Buderus install , switched it out to a Riello, and no problems since. I have the NX sitting in a corner collecting dust.

The
only NX I've installed was in a WBV and has been trouble-free for 8 months.I've serviced a few in Biasi's and Buderus, again with no issues. The easy adaptability to outside air is a huge plus in my book.

outside air
I don't have experience with the NX.
But I remember the AFII's and how many I have pulled out in favor of a Riello's...
I haven't heard much about the NX's so far good or bad so I am kind of on the fence myself.
Seems like the last good design Beckett had was when they finished meddling with the AFG!!!
The Riello products are tried and true, and parts are readily available at any good supply house that is known to carry burner parts. Around here anyway

I can honestly say that after six years of owning the Riello service kit. It has done nothing but collect dust. The Riello burner is top notch in my book.
My sister has a older Peerless boiler that had a Carlin EZ elite on it. Constant nuisance lock outs. I would set it up with digital instruments but the problems would always come back. I replaced the Carlin with a Riello and the problems disapeared. That was three years ago. Runs like a sweetheart.
Every oil job I do ( which are Buderus G115's) gets a Riello burner. Go Riello!!

Riello
Ditto's Darin,
I have my Riello in service in my home for 9 years now. I also have the service kit and have never opened it other than to see whats in it. They require someone who knows Riello's to set them up, but they are great burners.0 -

This
is really about pre-purge and component reliability. Riello was ahead of the curve in this regard and forced the others to adopt pre-purge and improve component quality,to the extent that Riello's advantage has disappeared!

I think there is an AFG application for the G115/21.
I have a Riello BF on mine and a few others and have had no problems.0
