Piping swing joints

In Dan's books, and in steam boiler installation manuals, I read of installing "swing joints" in boiler rise/header piping and radiator runout/main pipe. Problem is that I cannot find steam suitable "swing joints" on the web and local supply houses look blank. Existing residential systems that I have seen don't have them.
If they are truly necessary to eliminate thermal expansion damage, where do I find them?

I have a threader & reverse coupling to fix that!

swing joints are nothing more than pipe and 90s configured to allow the expansion and contraction to move in the direction of the threads. good luck you, might want to find a pro to help you or at least consult with it will be money well spent0 -
look into
Hoffman/ITT steam book... Had them for while and in my vertical files somewhere.. They show pictures of proper steam pipings practice as well swing joints..0
