buried tank
Locally here there is a mobile home park that has all of its 275 gallon horizontal tanks buried 1/2 way. I refused to service the units in the park. I cannot understand who would ever put oil in these tanks.0 -
Looks like
A Roth tank from W.Va.0 -
I've heard of some place
where they completely buried that type of tank at all the houses in a development. I think it was on Long Island but am not sure......

There was a Levitt development in Old Bridge NJ
Where they originally had a single tank for a few hundred homes. UBER-SUPERFUND!
I guess luckily flow problems caused them to all go to individual exposed tanks before they failed in some other way. It was a much less jaded age in the 70's. Let alone the legal problems today, but the potential for theft is huge.
