oil burner problem

About 4 years ago I started working on Burnham LE boiler with a Beckett oil burner. The problem that I am having is that there is constantly soot accumulating on and around the boiler. Now the customer is complaining of a reddish stain on the outside of the chimney chase.

Is the boiler by any chance piped with a bypass? It sound's like the boiler return water temp is to low...0 -
Your right ismb. I did not realize it was so important with boiler water temp and bad condesation. Thanks for the info0
