Not knowing which state you are from and which code(s) are in force, I'd go for the 32"x32" because typically the codes require a minimum of 1024 aq. inches. If you use a prefabricated base the "clear" floor area must be 900 aq. inches, the compartment shall provide for a 30"inch diameter circle with the door closed.
