TACO RECEIVES EXPORT ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FROM
DEPT. OF COMMERCE


Cranston, RI, June 29, 2007 – Taco, Inc. is the recipient of an export achievement award given by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Service. The award was presented to Taco President and CEO John Hazen White, Jr. during Bryant University’s World Trade Day conference and expo ON May 21st.

Presenting the award to Taco was James Cox, Northeast Regional Director for the U.S. Department of Commerce. Taco was cited for consistent growth in exports and for “recent accomplishments in the global marketplace.”

The company was also lauded for its work with Bryant University students and faculty on export development and assistance. Taco maintains an active association with Bryant’s John H. Chafee Center for International Business.

Taco has long been active in overseas markets. The company exports to Canada and Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. It is currently very active bidding on and supplying products for use in large construction projects in Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf sheikhdoms.
