Boiler Room Problems

When in doubt, code always rules. If an incident occurs, like CO poisoning, code and insurance investigators will always look to code for the answers. Unless the manufacturer specifies otherwise, and that is acceptable to the local authority, stick to the code.

Boiler Room Problems
My boiler requires 50,000 SCFH of gas and the blower fan is sized for 10,000 CFM at 11 in wc, which is pulling combustion air from the space. The boiler room is land locked in the room and incredibly negative. I need to recalc the combustion air requirements. Do I use the 10K from the fan or the code requirement of 1 CFM of forced air per 2400 btu?0
