Update

Today Marine Corporal Matthew Zindars was put to rest. While the situation was sad, the Marines do us proud. They flanked Matt's casket continually and consoled Matt's loved one's with great care and dignity.

Veteran's lined the entrance with about fifty flags. The entire setting left us very humble.

While nothing can bring Matt back simple recognition of the courageous men and women who have served, do serve and will serve is truly appreciated.

The phrase " Freedom is not Free " was truly defined to many this past week (especially me)

Please continue to support our military and their loved ones.

Pray for peace!

Rich K.

    Semper Fi.

My condolences and sympathy go out to Marine Corporal Matthew Zindars family and friends.

I spent four years in the Marine Corps prior to joining the Air National Guard. Four of the best years of my life.

I see every day the sacrifices that are made by all of our armed forces personnel and their families. I am proud to serve and honored to serve. I have meet Iraqi, Kuwaiti, Italian, Romanian, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Canadian and British troops. All of whom I am also honored to serve with. It is truly a Global War on Terror.

I see first hand the difference that we make over here.

Thank you all for your support.

Thank you Rich, this post will help keep Matt’s memory alive.
