More and more, people are turning to what many consider one of the most comfortable heating solutions, hydronic heating, which utilizes water instead of or in addition to air as the heat transfer medium. Hydronic applications include room heating with radiators, baseboards, or under-floor tubing; swimming pool and whirlpool heating; snow and ice melting for sidewalks and driveways; and towel rack warming.
Now, the upsurge in consumer interest in hydronic heating has inspired the launching of a new Web site, www.myhomeheating.com. The site has practical and up-to-date information on hydronic heating for homeowners, architects/engineers, heating installers, and home builders and remodelers. It includes clear explanations on how hydronic heating works and helpful facts on the benefits and the many applications of hydronics, case studies, announcements of trade show participation, details on I=B=R schools for training on hydronic equipment installation, and tips on opportunities for builders, installers, and remodelers.
MyHomeHeating.com is presented by the Hydronics Industry Alliance (HIA), a coalition of members of the Hydronics Institute Division of GAMA. Twenty-nine companies have joined together to increase industry and consumer awareness of the latest technological advances in hydronic heating. For more information visit <a href="http://www.myhomeheating.com/"target="_blank">MyHomeHeating.com</a>, or write to the Hydronics Industry Alliance, 2107 Wilson Blvd., Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22201, or email to myhomeheating@gamanet.org.
