Solar incentives, anyone have an idea?

does anyone have a way to tell their customers what the solar tax credits are all about? Can you please post or email me the breakdown? Just thermal please; I don't need PV. i'm in Mass if there are any state incentives as well. Please clarify state of federal if you can, thanks.

    The form and everything you need

    for the federal tax credit is at www.DSIREusa.org. Your state website should have info on credits also, if offered. Also some power providers, like Exel in Colorado have incentives.

    Google solar tax credits for more info state by state.

    I always refer the customer to their CPA or tax accountant to see if and how the credits apply. Not everyone pays taxes!

    Solar subsidies

    Those of us with long memories perhaps should also tell a customer chasing subsidies that they come and go for political reasons, not energy economics.
