Last week drove from Grand Rapids through Ontario to home in New York. Great Lakes are spectacular. Beautiful state! 20% of all the fresh water in the world is in these 5 lakes...

    Enjoy the 4th

    This is what us southern Michiganders call 'Up North' -- northern lower penninsula to the upper penninsula -- great places to visit during the holidays (or any time).

    This is a pic of my two kids in the moonglow over Lake Huron, from our favorite little hideaway in the state: Harrisville.

    is that the harrisvile w/ the harbor, we used to go salmon fishing their every year, their was a little bait store that had a fish cleaning station w/ an attendant who would clean your fish for a $1.00. I remember waiting in line for 30 min at 4am to get them cleaned, we alway went to a bar (Green somthing) for a drink and dinner, great place

    Took a drive thru the sandy beaches of NE Indiana last Sunday. The lakes are Great indeed. I hope to be sailing out there this afternoon.
