flueway condensation

I'm bidding a replacement for a Weil-McLain P368 steam boiler. This unit was installed less than 10 years ago. It has plugged due to condensation no less than 5 times. The unit is fired at full capacity, has great draft, is always set up with instruments, and is in a dry basement. The unit is properly sized for the connected load is piped properly and doesn't surge. There are no signs of leaks in the sections or at the gaskets. The boiler doesn't use excessive water. It almost seems like the iron is porous. Is that possible?

Try
a L4006A to maintain a little temp during heating season, clean the boiler thoroughly immediately after heating season and before summer shutdown. This usually does the trick

This model
This model and the Peerless JOT are the worst for condensing as you describe. The fix is keeping them warm. The Peerless I could never figure why but the Weil I always figured it was from having gaskets between the sections.
