Honeywell 1404f

This may be a stupid question but what is the orientation for the wiring for this honeywell pressuretrol that comes with Burnham's Independance steamer with probe L.W.C. Is it pink on top and grey on bottom? The wiring diagram does not specify which goes on top or on the bottom. On the screw terminals themselves there is a "R" for red on top, a "W" for the middle terminal and a "B" for black on the bottom most terminal. All that is supplied with the EI model is a pink and grey wire for the limit. Thanks, Daniel

R-B on a Honeywell control open as the pressure rises which is what you want on a limit control. It doesn't matter which color goes on which one. Make sure that as the pressure rises that the control does shut the unit off. This should be a part of the unit start up.

Thanks Paul. They don't clarify this on the installation manual unless it is is size 1 font.
