Yesterday I was looking at a bank of boilers being run by a Weil Mclain BCP-12 (Heatimer). The DHW contacts would not pull in to fire the boilers when the contacts on the BCP were closed (or jumped out). The signal comes from a Taco SR501 on the XX terminals. There was approx 1.6v present on the wire to the BCP(from the taco relay). The BCP says dry contacts only.
Is the small presence of voltage enough to cause the BCP to fail? Any suggestions as to what to look for? We verified the incoming voltage as 120.
