Need Info for American Foundry & Furnace Systems

not what you need though. This company was located in Bloomington, Illinois and appeared in the ASHVE Guides from 1929, 1931 and 1932. But the ad they took in the Guides were for louver units, not furnaces, though it did mention they made "blast" systems of warm-air heating.

Head on over to The Sheet Metal Shop site at www.thesheetmetalshop.com and ask Bud Goodman (webmaster). If anyone has something on these units, he would, or would know someone who does. Tell him we sent you.

    Anyone have any old books

I am working on a church that has an American Foundry and Furnace system. It is a huge system that has a GP burner 1.1 mil and a cast iron heat exchanger inside of a giant box with a huge return box. The furnace is the about 9ft high but 9 deep and the return is off to the side in a seperate closet.

I am trying to get engineering data on the unit such as CFM's and that. I took static pressure readings but didn't have anything to measure velocity. If anyone has any information please forward to me.

    Thanks,

    Justin
