Jerry Garcia's Birthday

With my Birthday hangover I forgot it was Jerry Garcias Birthday on the 1st.

He actually died 8 days after his birthday on the 9th.

Jerry lost two thirds of his middle finger in a wood chopping incident at the age of four. Resulting in his distinctive style.

His Mother bought him an Accordian at age fifteen. He pleaded with her to buy him a Gutair instead and the rest is rock and roll history.

I have three of them! I'm not sure but my wife and I where in the outskirts of Binghamton, NY a few weeks back and could swear that a fellow we saw hitchhiking on River Road was Jerry Garcia or a reincarnation. Tie dye shirt and all! And that was before the party we were attending for our grandchildren so we were both sober!
