HOW Hydronics says the van will be at the Casa di Copani restaurant located at 3414 Burnet Ave, Syracuse NY 13203. It is scheduled to be there, in the back parking lot, from 10:30am to 1:30pm on Monday the 6th.

Just a heads up! The Lochinvar Display Van is arriving in upstate NY August 2nd, with a Sneak Preview of the NEW Knight wall mount.
You can see it Friday, 8/3 at V.J. Stanley, Rochester - 585-770-2670; Monday, 8/6 at HOW Hydronics, Baldwinsville - 315-652-3200; Tuesday 8/7 at Aird Dorrance, Clifton Park – 518-877-4777.
If you miss it there you can see it at the REX Expo – August 22-24 in Hartford. Hope you can make it.

Double-Secret Probation

The last time I was at the factory, we caught a glimpse of a prototype. I don't think we were supposed to see it so we were put on double-secret probation.

I am really looking forward to these units. IIRC, I believe they were going to offer a 50,000btu unit....so with a 5:1 turn down, that puts minimum firing at 10,000 input. Good bye buffer tanks.

This is speculation at best until we see printed literature (not yet on the website), but maybe an unveiling at REX will be a nice surprise?

Rumor is that the new Knight Wall-Hung might also make you a latte' in the morning. Again, speculation on my part.

A few days ago we returned from Anchorage , where Joe Ballanco gave a couple classes on Mechanical and Plumbing code revisions. It was a great class ,it seemed to me that the plumbing codes on DWV basically have gone round around and are more considerate of systems that were installed 30 years ago that were right. I missed the mech class , however my buddy saved me a copy of the lit on the class, one of the things that i read that made sense to me was that the venting of the gas condensing boilers were moving away from liability exposure to their product by rolling with PVC. I was considering what the manufacturers were considering as an economical and safe alternative...

mosses and i are already designing for 14 of the 150mbh units, i am counting on delivery in October, with November the latest – they cant get them out them fast enough, Everybody wants them – talk about a vie$$mann killer!!!

I have tried twice

to get them to bring the van to my training center and my phone calls and e-mails are never returned or answered.

I am not sure if the come into New England.

Then Portsmouth from 11:30-2 p.m.
