and for us . what i mean by that is, it has so many parts and pieces all of us use and the other "real deal" with the program that is sharp is ,the add on or add in with, Watts Radiant program... That might look like the complete program buh no...it gets better...There are places through out that allows the introduction of say "Foreigners" :) you can pull them into or plug in their specs ...Really if you hear of one of Tacos, Taco Load match program review classes , it is well worth the investment of your time. It is a fast track class though ...

my vote would be that it could be a two day class.... the reason being that is that i am slow and think of questions like well"where are the ...and what if ...how would that .... and it is not from lack of focus... it might be that someone thinks immediately of something that they are working on and doesn't want to breeze past the thought just at that moment...so....i would like to say that it is a great class, great program, put together by great people:) one of them is a Giant he is really great..He looks over abunch of corn fields somewhere in the Lower 48...He's called the Jolly Green Giant *~/:)

i never met him personally... however, i have seen the guy on T.V. he seems like a good hearted sort :) so remember...Jolly Green Giant TACO Load Match ..working for You ... all is good *~/:)

TACO INTRODUCES DEDICATED THERMOSTATS FOR USE WITH ITS LOADMATCH SINGLE PIPE SYSTEM

Cranston, RI, June 8, 2007 Taco has added a new line of thermostats designed specifically for use with its LoadMatch single-pipe heating-cooling system. LoadMatch Thermostats provide exceptional control of LoadMatch systems employing either heat pump or fan coil units. They are available in stand-alone and network versions.

Versatile, all-in-one LoadMatch Thermostats come with an easy-to-read interface and large backlit display and are available in BACnet, Echelon-Lontalk and non-communicating versions for use with virtually any system. Preprogrammed and LoadMatch-ready, they require little or no configuration before use.

LoadMatch Thermostat fan coil models are available with relative humidity (RH) sensors to provide local dehumidification with reheat capability.

Easy to install, the thermostats have a hinged design with removable terminal blocks.

Taco's LoadMatch system consists of LoadMatch-configured circulators and Twin Tee fittings. The single pipe system, which eliminates control valves, most balancing valves and the amount of pipe needed, provides superior indoor comfort while providing energy savings over the life of a building. LoadMatch systems can be employed in virtually any type of building, including large homes.

Taco, Inc. is headquartered in Cranston, RI and is a leading developer and manufacturer of heating and cooling equipment and accessories for use in hydronic systems worldwide. www.taco-hvac.com.

    taco is almost there...

Now all you need, is to have permanent magnet Electronically Commutated Vari-Speed Motors driven by those schicki little stats, – "WTW" Wire-To-Water efficiency is the next catch phrase, this months issue of “hpac” magazine (which happens to have a loadmatch ad) went through 7 supposedly high efficiency huge ac systems - and showed how wasteful they actually were – the one that wasn’t, had VariableFrequencyDrives on everything - and why let laing corp get all the supper low wattage pump business,
most heating professionals nowadays do decent heat loss calcs, but a good “system curve” calc, foh-ged-abow-eet!!! – you just don’t know until it’s all put together and then it’s too late, as the pump is already in, this is going to break our customers electric bill!!! – “VFD it to death” – of course the dream would be a dial-in flow or delta-P/delta-T pump – but at least you have the VV/VS/VR pumps, but not enough people are using them, my guess is it’s simply a lack of knowledge, and of course the old short sighted issue, “price” – I keep telling my customers, everyone pays for high efficiency stuff, whether they actually have it, or keep paying for it again and again is up to them!!!

I just love the slot-ed 4-bolt flanges introduced with the 0010-3speed – it does 95% of what a floating flange would do without braking your bank – hope it makes it into all future castings – would also like ifc bores in both the volute and discharge – I make my supply house buy mostly ifc pumps – as you can always pop them out and there isn’t that much of a flow drop even if you don’t need it – the only caveat is fill the system from inlet toward outlet, I have gotten them air locked so tight, that I had to pop them to free them – this is a problem with all noryl-o-ring spring-checks, not just taco’s, as they actually don’t leak back

PS I talk in first person tense, cause I know Taco’s Joe Mattielo is always here – we love him, even when we give him a hard time
