I noticed it was hot today when my crew slowed down to a snail pace. Pulled out the Fluke Multimeter and measured 102 in the shade in Issaqua, WA.

How hot is everyone else? Glad I'm not an AC guy.

It's been in the 90's here in the beautiful Hudson Valley Kingston, NY. Most the week with no end in sight for this week.

    Yeah, it's been hot...

It's been a pretty hot and humid summer along the southern shores of Lake Michigan so far this year. Had a pretty unbearable week June 18-22. Then and since we've pushed the mid 90's more than usual. We're enjoying a lull in the action right now with nighttime lows in the mid 60's. I expect hot and humid around here but it hit us early this year. Lots of fluids, guys.

No complaints, it's just the weather. This pic is actually from last summer we were working in an attic. Of course the T-Mom was seeing a little sun.

    Oh Yeah.

It's been hot here in Georgia.

Quite a lot of my customers have their pre-season checkups done and hardly have a problem. It's the rest of the people out there that don't think clean and checks are worth the money that have problems.

I don't schedule attic work after 10AM. Attic spaces under dark shingles is not fun.

Normal. Highs in the mid-90s and high humidity (dewpoint low 70s) most of the time. Fairly abundant rain (corn farmers are particularly pleased). Last two days have been unusually pleasant with mid-80s highs and much lower humidity. Dewpoint this morning only 55.

Have a huge batch of lumber arriving today so I'm glad the weather isn't "typical".

    Too hot in Baltimore

so I drove back to Maine. 70's in the day with 50's at night. Have yet to run the AC but did send some warm water thru the floor to take the chill off the concrete.
Of course this is a reminder of April 07 so I should not gloat...

Tribute to the late great Johnny Carson

    How hot is it?

It's so hot that the Good Humor man is in a bad mood.

It's so hot that I saw a fire hydrant chasing a dog.

It's so hot I saw a robin use a potholder to pull a worm out of the ground.

It's so hot that a dog was chasing a cat and they were both walking

    Perfect!

Perfect here in New Hampshire. Brilliant blue skies with some happy puffy white clouds popping in and out, high 70's, moderate humidity, nice breeze.

WHY did I not take today off???

    Currently 54* and falling

We had some T storms blow through Tuesday night and they brought the humidity back to sane levels along with temps in the low 80* upper 70 range. Just had a big blow this evening, power lines down, house trailer hit by lightning (why is it always trailers? The temp dropped from 71 to 58 in no more than 10 minutes time. Low in the upper 40's here tonight.

I FEEL GOOOOOD dada dada dada dah!

    My grandfather

always said that it was "as hot as a June bride in a featherbed". Grandma then hit him with a broom.

    High Demand for A/C

But after working on a/c units in the 130' Iraqi sun, I laugh at those "hot" attic systems!! Childs Play!!

    117 in the shade.

Kuwait in the summer, what a place. Just drink a lot of water and don't leave your tools in the sun.

Thank god it is a dry heat.

    HVAC is busy.

The boys in the HVAC shop are busy as ever. Lot of ducless split systems over here. LG and Carrier. As well as a bunch of ECU's for the tents.

You know you miss it. (NOT!!)
