We run a half-page ad in Plumbing & Mechanical each month.

I'm putting together a new ad and I'd like to have a long list of things that someone new to the site will find at HeatingHelp.com. This will appear in small type as the ad's wallpaper.

Find a job. Find a friend. Make a connection. Size a circulator. Compare products. Things like that.

Will you help me come up with a list? Thanks.

    here's a few

Why do a heat loss calculation BEFORE choosing boiler?

Does my contractor know his stuff?

How do I size my indirect HWH?

    Why are most boilers oversized?

Should I convert from steam to hot water heat?

What's often wrong with the lowest bid?

    Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Protection

    How to choose a contractor

What's the best kind of heating system?

    Photos of proper heating installations

    Photos of nightmare heating installations

Is a modulating condensing boiler the way to go?

Dan obviously many of the same questions keep coming up...You have a wonderful search function and 'heating Q&A' which many new to the site don't use before they post. Perhaps there's a way to put a special large 'FAQ' or 'go here first' kind of button that has answers to some of the questions you're asking for here. Many wallies have posted great answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. At this point Steamhead has a standard pasted reply to those who want to convert from steam to hot water, etc. Of course ferreting out these answers--some of which you've already done--can be labor intensive.

    Thanks,

    David

The ad is for Plumbing & Mechanical magazine. No homeowners will see it. I'm trying to attract more heating professionals to our community. I'm interested in including what you would briefly say to them. Thanks.
