what chemical imbalance will turn pool palstic brown?
0 -
just guessing
Have you used some type of chemical to balance iron in the water? Iron out or something similiar.... It must be your water has something in it that reacted with your chemical treatment... Take a treatment to your local pool company, they should be able to test it up quick for you and get you back in shape...
Good luck0 -
Iron
Would be my guess. Chlorine reacts with iron and "sets" the stain.0 -
ok - how do you reverse that???

"Oxy-Clean" really does work wonders on some stains (including iron) as long as it stays in contact for some reasonable length of time. Repeatedly sponge with a fairly strong solution and it might work...0 -
Kids in diapers? \"Accidents\"?
Bromine comes to mind as well as iron. Bromine has sort of a dilute root beer kind of brown."If you do not know the answer, say, "I do not know the answer", and you will be correct!"
