I am supposed to have a concrete truck on my jobsite for the new 4 condensor pad (5' x 20'). Get home 10 minutes ago to find 2 messages on home phone stating that if no call from me before 4 pm, now 9:00 pm, delivery would be cancelled. I ordered this past monday and prepaid. Gave the company home number and business number.Never called business line. Now a have to get refund and hand mix 2 cubic yards of concrete tomorrow. There goes the nice easy 3 hour job. Oh well it is the 13th.

So I get a call last night from one of the duct guys I work for. He's in a big hurry to get a price on a new Mitsubishi mini Heat pump. Ok, so this A.M. I make the necessary calls to at least give him a high side SWAG (Scientific Wild **** Guess) on what a price might be like. So I call him back we go over it, all ok. I say to him, so how far along is the site?" He says, "It's almost done." I said, "Duuuuuude...." as I grabbed ny furrowed brow in disbelief mode. Let's see, there's the permit, electrical, plumbing for drains and a roof penetration necessary. Then, of course, it's Friday and I'm already up to my eyeballs with stuff to do and I'm behind as it is. Well, I guess if I'm going to cry the least one of youse could do is get me a beer to cry in. Or two. A shot my help cheer me up a little too. I think. Sniff sniff. LOL...

I didn't even think of that. So I went out there, oh, there's at least twice as much work as described. I asked the job sup what kind of deadline there might be and he says, "Two weeks ago." LOL...
