TRV Questions?

job and I`m figuring individual Danfoss RA 2000s(angle) for each rad. These are all CI on feet and most S&R piping enters the bottom side by side. Besides the HOs knocking-into the heads with the vacuum cleaner (<i>that I hope they use</i>), would they read room temp OK that low or should I use remote heads? I hate the thought of drilling all those upper plugs-out, but I guess using the remotes, I could turn the body up. Any thoughts?<BR><BR>Dave

If you use the remote room temperature sensing operator then you can use an angle valve body and install the operator vertically.

I would not be too concerned about the heads being damaged by a over zealous vacuum, the heads seem pretty robust to me. you might consider elevating the radiator on a slab of stone. the remote actuator is not the most finished looking thing where it connects to the valve body, and concealing and or protecting the tube could be tricky. Here is a photo of a slightly elevated radiator.
