Steam Radiators

Some time ago I attended a presentation by Dan Holohan, at an ASHRAE meeting and I recall an explanation about how over sized steam radiators could suck steam out of the boiler. The result is that smaller radiators would be starved, and not provide rated heat. Where is this problem published, and what is the recommendation when replacing the boiler and some radiators on an existing one pipe steam system?

I don't think I said that. With one-pipe steam, it's all about the venting. Try this:
