Here it is, 16 months after I had my thyroid gland removed for cancer. I went through a series of test and got the wonderful news today. No thyroid cancer.

Thank you to everyone for their thoughts, prayers and consideration.

Speaking of survivors, I ran into Ted Lowe in a hotel lobby in Canada at the Foothills Conference this spring, and he looks fantastic. He too is in remission. We are "survivors".

Early detection is the key to survival. Pay attention to the signs and get regular check ups. The life you save may be your own.
