tenants removed vents from radiators
i have these tenants that always complain about the heat. i have steam heat. but when i go to there apts and take a reading its always above 70 and the dept of health has been here and confirm that i give enough heat. so now they are taking the vents off the rads, so i complain, i notice the water in the boiler going low and also think that the steam will eventually cause mold and mildew. so i took them to court and the court rule that i cant say that because i'm not a lincensed plumber nor an expert, case dismissed. anybody agree that they are damaging my boiler and possibly the apt.? anybody have advice for me as far as getting a expert witness or document to support my complain? thank you
