    Mini Shunt

We sell about 4 - 5 of these each year. Its a great product when you need to install radiant far away from the boiler and use an exisitng high temp loop such as a base board circuit.

It can be difficult to vent / purge . It must be installed in a vertical position. I've included a flyer / piping diagram that we made up for this product. It involves more fittings/valves than they suggest but it makes the installation more trouble free. Their literature / installation instructions are somewhat lacking to be polite about it.

    Hope this helps you.

    Thanks

Thanks for the response. I originally saw this Mini Shunt from one of your postings. I am installing one this week and wanted some info.

    Success install

I'm sure it will work out for you. I'd be interested in any comments you had positive or negative after you've done your install. One other thing, we usually suggest - installing a summer winter switch. No need to run the circulator during the summer when no heat is needed.

    Good luck
