First I want to thank Dan for his confidence in me. After I won the RPA contest in 2005 it has given me a big ego boost. I tried to move into a more of a leadership role on the wall. Two results of my overinflated ego were the Engineers rant and the Global Warming Rant. I failed miserably in both. I still plan to try and become a leader. I will learn from my past mistakes and be smarter and better. I now have to choose my words more carefully and of course choose what to debate over. I also need to learn to walk away and cut my loses from certain situations like the GW debate. I will try hard to make you proud of me. Instead of embarrassed of me.

One of my goals is to make sure you are glad Dan asked me back and that you are happy with what I post. I admire everyone here a lot and care greatly what you think. I am not perfect and sometimes I will make mistakes. Also, sometimes I will disagree with the general consensus. Overall though you should be pleased with me. I do not plan to get in another situation that would cause Dan to have to shut me down again.

I know the GW debate got a little heated but it was one of the few posts of that length that I read every one of!

I learned a lot from that thread, as I do here every day.

Debate is good, but everyone needs to consider both sides of the argument and others feelings as well.

I have been acccused,(mostly by my wife and children)that I don't have the ability to ever admit I'm wrong about a subject.
