    Rick Ganey

is no longer with N&S Supply in Catskill, NY as of today.

I have been at this a long time and I will say that Rick was BY FAR the best sales rep I have ever dealt with. Not perfect, but close enough.

He made sure that Darin and crew had plenty of coffee while the guys were deployed in Iraq. He made a special trip to Darin's mother's house at Christmas with gifts for Darin's children and a tray of cookies for the family.

I've tipped a few with Rick over the years and you would think that with a name like "Ganey" he should be able to handle a "wee bit of the nectar".........NOPE! He almost belongs on "The Island of misfit toys" when it comes to drinkin'!

Thanks Rick..for all that you did. I truly enjoyed working with ya'!

Good luck in your next venture!

I think I know where Rich is going

but I am sworn to secrecy. Pinky Swear at that, with double-secret probation. Rick has a heart and is cool, that much is certain.

It is Rick's pleasure to divulge really :)

    A True Gentlemen!!!!

I wholeheartedly agree with Mark. Rick was by far the BEST saleman I have ever had the pleasure of working with!!!

He will do great in his next venture. Some of you will see him in his new duties.

I MUST thank Rick again for all of his support during my deployment in Iraq. His good heart went far above and beyond being a salesman at N&S Supply!! He is indeed a friend,a patriot ,and of course an Irish light weight drinker. He will be sorely missed. I wish him the very best!!!!!!!!

    Rick is the man!!

And a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

    Keep in touch Rick.

Now I don't even have a back up sales rep, as my other guy went MIA.

    Thank You!

    To all my friends,

That sounds better than customers because you guys are my friends. N&S Supply is a great place to work and Rob is the best guy I have ever worked with, ever. I decided to accept a Market Development Manager position with Hart & Cooley covering New York & New England. I start in 2 weeks.

Until then I am going to enjoy the pool with the kids and blast my Bosch Boom box a gift from Bill Smith of Bill’s P&H. I can hear the new Dream Theater and some Frank Marino now.

I apologize for being a lightweight Irish/Scotsman. But trust me, the rest of my family made up for it.

But then again, everyone on Earth is a lightweight compared to Mark, Darin & Mad Dog! New Hampshire ran out of booze! Thank God Rob had a credit card with unlimited spending power.

I am not really going away; we will stay in touch, oh like tomorrow. I promise to still annoy people here and at work. My cell is the same, nothing has changed except your orders and deliveries may become more accurate. Now that you are not paying me, maybe your prices will go down. NAH!

I called customers today and I will continue tomorrow until I have reached all of them just to say Thanks!!!
I thank N&S Supply and all my friends. You are the best…

Rick MDM (has a nice ring to it doesn’t it)

*Johnny, tried you today, went straight to voicemail, Devan, Rob is helping with the transition. If you need help, call him. Once again guys-Thank You!!!

    Images and Words

....is still the one to listen to Rick.

Congrats on your new job , and the 2 weeks at the pool. Oh...and speaking of which...please talk someone in to a " Retro " line of Grilles and Registers with rounded stamped corners ( early Lima 100M and 100H Return ). I need these for my house... ( and my other ac jobs ). I can't stand the stamped steel crap that I have to use ( or the newer frame type for that matter ).

And if your job has nothing to do with this stuff , ignore all except for the congrats and the DT reference , lol. The beer , the pool , the delmonico's on the grill , kids running around , Dream Theater....I'm liken it , lol. -Peace

Best of luck on the other side of the counter. Rest assured, you experience as a wholesaler will be a huge asset as you move forward.

    ALL is not dark

H&C does manufacture venting systems for, get this; oil, solid fuel, and gas. So, maybe the Force is in some sort of balance. Also, Josh, couldn't the force of hydronics include an element of hydro-air balance to it, which might include registers and grilles?

    Use the Force wisely, Luke!

    Jed

p.s. congratulations and good luck, Rick

    Rick,

Other than a few brief exchanges here on The Wall, I've never met you....But if Darin and Mark say you're O.K., I'm gonna ask you what makes you think Hunt's opinion EVER meant ANYTHING?

Darin's...I'll take as GOSPEL...but Mark has been known to be. ...Well haven't we tracked a bit?(chuckle!!!)

But seriously..Congratulations on your new position and I hope you enjoy IT as much as your former customers enjoyed dealing with you.

I'm sure you'll be an asset to Hart & Cooley...
(Now..what is this "ductilator thingy?" and what will it teach me about radiators?) Happy trails bunky! Chris

You're a pro. I gotta admit that I never thought you'd stray from hydronics but I know you will excel.

    Hey Don

When I was the manager of National's Clifton Park location you used to stop by. How's the Lochinvar Knight selling? Fine piece of equipment. To answer your hydronics question. Being in sales with a wholesaler I have always played both side of that fence. FHA has it's place and so does hydronics. Some here call it the dark side, I call it fun with income! I enjoy selling both, I just enjoy selling period. Now where is that ductilator? Oh yeah 6" round = 100 cfm's Ahhhhh...

    Rick is missed

I know first hand that his ex-customers are frustrated at this time. We haven't begun the hiring process yet. He knows I wish him well and will stay in touch. Tough void to fill, especially for whoever steps in. Rick did it right!
