a 5500 km, 6 state cruise on the goldwing. And we chatted with quite a few commercial truckers, especially the ones with a "bio" sticker on the hood. Seems bio is making a small entry into that industry. And on I 15 - a mercedes passed me with "fatbrnr" as a license - left me in his wake with a very pleasant french fry odour. Never was able to catch up to him. But back home - I am now starting on a B100 project, building a methanol recovery system for a bio production facility. Heart of the system will be a VB 63, powering up several heat exchangers to "boil" off the methanol, and providing shop heat in winter. While I have not decided on which burner to use - I'll keep this fine group posted on the design/build. The owner of this bio plant has been using B100 in his 3/4 T Ford - for about a year, with no service issues and has offered a few tanks for the sprinter. That may yet happen - but my main interest is the B100 as a heating fuel.
