I want to use Pex with oxygen barrier in my BBHW system and some copper. What type of PEX should I use.I'm not sure yet if I will use 180 or 150 degree water. Can you use PEX at the higher temp.Have only seen Pex rated at 200 degrees.

pex ratings
are temperature and pressure related.
We have been using pex for almost 15 years on heat and have only had two problems.
One was a boiler that ran away (electrician wired it wrong) and the safety did not go off so the pex melted and acted as a pressure relief.
The other is the change by one manufacture from metric to standard eliminating availability of fittings for a retro fit. Same can be said for incompatibility of some rare brands.
Veiga pextron and fosta pex work great.

Pex is commonly used
for HWBB. I'd also suggest a PAP or the Viega FostaPex. Crunch the load numbers, often times 5/8" diameter is plenty to handle most zones. Much much easier to handle opposed to 3/4".
